Rotterdam Albrandswaard is a municipality in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It is located on the south-west side of Rotterdam and has a population of around 25,000 people. The municipality was formed in 1985 after the merger of the municipalities of Rhoon and Poortugaal. It is a predominantly rural area with a few small towns and villages. Some notable landmarks in Rotterdam Albrandswaard include the castle of Rhoon, the Oude Maas river, and the Grienden nature reserve. The municipality is well-connected to Rotterdam and other neighboring cities by road, rail, and waterways.
